AgenticCLI

Account and billing questions

For people who pay for a ShipGuard plan: your account, cancelling, refunds, invoices, failed payments and deleting your data. Where a feature is not live yet, the answer says so.

How do I sign in to my AgenticCLI account after buying a plan?
Go to agenticcli.dev/login and sign in with the email you used when you created the account; a GitHub option shows on the same page when it is switched on. Buying a plan does not create a second account. The plan, its credits and its Pro rules attach to the account you already have, and the dashboard shows your overview, scans, API keys, billing and settings. If you are already signed in, the login page sends you straight to the dashboard.
Can I change the email address on my account?

Not yet. The Settings page shows the email you signed up with as read-only text, and there is no self-serve way to change it. If you need a different address, write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with and tell us which one you want. We handle this by hand, so we cannot promise a timeline, and we will tell you what is possible for your account before anything changes.

How do I change the name on my account?

Open Settings in the dashboard, edit the Display Name field and press save. The name is stored on your AgenticCLI account. The name on a payment receipt is different: it comes from the billing details you entered at checkout, which Dodo Payments holds. If a receipt needs a different name, write to [email protected] with the account email and what should change.

How do CLI sign-ins work, and how do I end one on a device I no longer use?

Running shipguard login shows a short code and opens a browser page where you approve it while signed in. Each approved sign-in lasts up to 30 days, and after that you run the command again. The dashboard does not list your devices yet. Signing out of the website ends every CLI sign-in on your account at once, unless you choose to sign out of that browser only. For a single lost device, sign out on the website or email [email protected].

How do API keys work, and which plans can use them for cloud scans?
Create a key on the API Keys page. The full key is shown once, so copy it then; afterwards only its first characters are visible. Revoking a key is permanent and stops any CI job using it straight away. Set it as SHIPGUARD_API_KEY in CI. Scans run with a key spend your account's credits, and today only Pro (100 credits a month) allows that: on Free and Plus, a cloud scan authenticated by a key is declined, and you sign in with shipguard login instead.
Can I switch between Plus and Pro, or between monthly and annual billing?

Not at the moment. Moving between plans, up or down, and switching Pro between monthly and annual are built but switched off, so the billing page shows no change-plan buttons, and buying a second plan while one is active is declined. Plus is $19/mo and Pro is $29/mo, or $228 a year. If you need a different plan, write to [email protected]. We will look at what can be done and tell you before anything is charged.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On the Billing page of your dashboard, press "Manage billing". It opens a page hosted by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, where you can cancel; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. The same page covers card changes and invoices. If the button does not work for you, email [email protected] from the address on your account and say you want to cancel; the Terms say we handle that within one business day.

When does a cancellation take effect, and what happens to my Pro access?
A cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Until then your plan works as normal, and no further renewal is charged. A monthly plan ends at the end of its month, and an annual plan runs to the end of its year. After that, cloud scans and Pro rules stop. Local scans stay free and need no account. A subscription that Dodo reports as expired, or a cancellation recorded as immediate, ends access at once.
What happens to my credits when I cancel or when a plan ends?
Credits that come with a plan do not roll over. Once a cancellation is recorded, no new monthly allowance is added: for an annual plan the later months of the year get no fresh 100 credits. What is left of the current month's allowance stays usable until that month ends or the paid period ends, whichever comes first, and is then removed. If you subscribe again later, you start from the new plan's full allowance; leftover credits are not stacked on top.
Does AgenticCLI give refunds?

The Terms say there are no refunds for partial billing periods or for cloud scan credits already used, unless the law requires one or it was stated when you bought. You can still ask: email [email protected] and each request is looked at individually. If a full refund is issued, Dodo processes it, the plan is set to end at the close of the paid period, and unused plan credits are removed. A partial refund changes only the money. Disputing the charge with your bank pauses the subscription immediately.

How do I update my payment method or get an invoice?

Press "Manage billing" on the Billing page of your dashboard. It opens a page hosted by Dodo Payments, where you can update your card and download invoices. Dodo is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles the sales tax, and issues the receipt and invoice. AgenticCLI never receives your full card number. If the button does not work, or you cannot find a receipt, email [email protected] with the account email and the date of the payment; the Terms say card changes are handled within one business day.

What happens if a renewal payment fails?

Dodo reports the failed renewal and puts the subscription on hold. While it is on hold, cloud scans stop and no new credits are added, but the credits already in your balance are kept. To fix a declined card, press "Manage billing" on the Billing page and update your card there. When a later payment goes through, Dodo reports the renewal and access resumes with that period's credits. AgenticCLI does not send you its own failed-payment notice today, so check the email you used at checkout, and write to [email protected] if your Pro access stops. A subscription on hold also blocks buying another plan until it is sorted out.

When does my plan renew, and how many credits do I get each cycle?
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you chose, and Dodo Payments charges the saved payment method. Plus is $19/mo with 10 credits a month. Pro is $29/mo, or $228 billed once a year, with 100 credits a month. An annual plan still adds credits monthly, not all at once. Each month's allowance replaces the last one, and one credit pays for one cloud scan. The Terms promise reasonable notice before any price change.
What do I get right after I buy a plan?

Once Dodo confirms the payment, your account switches from the Free allowance to the plan you bought: 10 credits a month on Plus or 100 on Pro, plus the full rule corpus for cloud scans. Every signed-in plan, Free included, gets the same current corpus on cloud scans; Pro adds volume, agent-payable credits and a shared credit pool. The dashboard shows the new balance. If the plan or credits are not showing after a few minutes, refresh the page and then write to [email protected] with your account email.

How do I get Pro rules into the CLI after I buy?
Run shipguard login once and approve the sign-in in your browser. After that, a cloud scan costs one credit and fetches the rule bundle for your plan. The bundle is signed, and the CLI checks the signature before using it. Pro rules are held in memory only, are never written to disk, and are discarded when the scan ends. Without a sign-in, the CLI runs the free bundled rules, which need no account.
Does my source code leave my machine when I run a scan?
No. Local scans read and analyse your files entirely on your machine, and no file contents, file paths or code are sent to our servers. A cloud scan fetches rules over your signed-in session and applies them on your machine. The CLI also sends a small anonymous usage ping (version, result, duration), which you can switch off with shipguard telemetry disable, SHIPGUARD_TELEMETRY=0 or DO_NOT_TRACK=1. The ping is not linked to your account.
How do I delete my account and my data?

Account deletion is run by us for now; there is no delete button. Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We first sign you out everywhere and revoke your API keys, then cancel any subscription with Dodo, then delete or anonymise your personal data. The Privacy Policy says this is done within 30 days. Cancelling this way does not trigger an automatic refund. Any plan credits you still hold are forfeited, and any refund for unused paid time is decided case by case.

What is erased when my account is deleted, and what is kept?
Your sign-in, name, email, scans, devices and API keys are removed or blanked, and your Dodo customer record is anonymised. Payment, refund and tax records are kept without your name or email, because accounting and dispute handling need the payment and subscription ids. Dodo keeps its own transaction records as merchant of record. Nightly backups can hold earlier data for up to 14 days, and analytics deletion is queued by PostHog. Signing up again later with the same email starts a fresh account with no credits or subscription.
How do I contact support about my account or billing?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or use the contact page at agenticcli.dev/contact. Say what you need and include the account email so we can find your subscription quickly. We are a small team: the contact page asks you to expect a reply within a few business days, and the Terms say cancellations and card changes are handled within one business day. For security reports, use the Security page instead.
